Watch our video guide to Week 34 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 34?
Your baby is now about the size of a cantaloupe! The lungs are almost fully developed. If your baby were born now, they would likely do well with minimal medical intervention.
The central nervous system is maturing, and the fat layers are filling out your baby's skin. If you're having a boy, the testicles are descending from the abdomen into the scrotum.
Tips for Week 34
- Attend your prenatal appointments regularly
- Know the signs of labor vs. Braxton Hicks
- Rest when you can - your body is working hard
- Finish setting up the nursery
