Watch our video guide to Week 33 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 33?
Your baby is now about the size of a pineapple! The bones are hardening, except for the skull, which stays soft and flexible to make the journey through the birth canal easier.
Your baby's immune system is developing, receiving antibodies from you. They're putting on about half a pound per week. The amniotic fluid is at its maximum volume.
Tips for Week 33
- You may feel baby hiccupping more often
- Sleep may be increasingly difficult - use pillows for support
- Review signs of preterm labor with your healthcare provider
- Make sure your car seat is installed correctly
