Watch our video guide to Week 30 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 30?
Only 10 weeks to go! Your baby is now about the size of a large cabbage, weighing around 1.3kg. The lanugo (fine body hair) is starting to disappear as more fat accumulates under the skin.
Your baby's brain is developing rapidly, forming billions of connections. The eyes can focus and track movement. The bone marrow has completely taken over red blood cell production.
Tips for Week 30
- Your baby may be settling into a head-down position
- Trouble sleeping is common - try pregnancy pillows
- Finalize your birth plan
- Stock up on newborn essentials
