Watch our video guide to Week 28 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 28?
Your baby is now about the size of an eggplant! They can blink their eyes, which now have lashes. REM (rapid eye movement) sleep has begun, suggesting your baby may be dreaming.
The brain is developing its characteristic grooves and folds. Your baby is continuing to put on fat, which will help with temperature regulation after birth.

- You'll likely have more frequent prenatal appointments now
- If you're Rh negative, you may receive an anti-D injection
