Watch our video guide to Week 9 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 9?
Your baby is now about the size of a grape! The facial features are becoming more defined - eyelids have formed (though they'll stay closed until week 27), and the nose and lips are visible. Tiny earlobes are forming.
The baby's muscles are developing, allowing for more movement. All essential organs are in place, though they'll continue to mature throughout pregnancy.
Tips for Week 9
- Your uterus has doubled in size since conception
- You might experience mood swings due to hormonal changes
- Keep eating small, frequent meals if nausea persists
- Start researching maternity wear options
