Watch our video guide to Week 35 of your pregnancy journey:
What's Happening in Week 35?
Your baby is now about the size of a honeydew melon, weighing around 2.4kg! Most of the basic physical development is complete. Your baby is just gaining weight and putting the finishing touches on organ development.
The kidneys are fully developed, and the liver can process some waste products. Your baby has less room to move now, so movements may feel different - more rolling than kicking.
Tips for Week 35
- Your baby may "drop" into your pelvis soon (lightening)
- Prenatal appointments may increase to weekly
- Have your hospital bag packed and ready
- Practice relaxation techniques
