What's Happening in Week 29?
Your baby is now about the size of a butternut squash! Muscles and lungs are continuing to mature. Your baby is getting stronger and you may feel some quite powerful kicks and movements.
The head is growing to make room for the developing brain. Your baby can regulate their own body temperature to some degree now. Bones are fully developed, though still soft.
Tips for Week 29
- You may feel breathless as baby crowds your lungs
- Eat smaller, more frequent meals if heartburn is an issue
- Practice relaxation techniques for labor
- Consider packing your hospital bag
