What's Happening in Week 27?
Welcome to the third trimester - the final stretch! Your baby is now about the size of a cauliflower. The lungs are capable of breathing air, though they still need more development. Regular sleep and wake cycles are established.
Your baby can recognize both your voice and your partner's voice. The brain is very active, with billions of neurons developing. Your baby may even be dreaming!
Tips for Week 27
- You may experience more Braxton Hicks contractions
- Back pain and leg cramps are common - try gentle stretches
- Consider taking childbirth classes
- Start preparing your hospital bag list
