What's Happening in Week 11?
Your baby is now about the size of a fig! They can open and close their fists, and hiccups may be starting (though you won't feel them). The head makes up about half of the baby's total length at this stage.
Tooth buds are forming under the gums, and the baby's bones are beginning to harden. Hair follicles are also starting to develop.

- You might notice your hair and nails growing faster
- Energy levels often improve in the second trimester
- Start planning your 12-week dating scan
- Consider prenatal classes in your area
